I had made several of my summer lace design already.

Simple Summer

To continue the spring - summer collection, let me introduce this Simple Summer Stole.
The striped lace pattern is as simple as possible - as it is indicated by the name. This simplicity is for a purpose: to emphesize the uniqenes of the hand-dyed mohair yarn. I do not like the long self striping or batic ombre yarns but this beauty is absolutely gorgous! The colour is like a red berry pie... (with vanilla ice-cream it would be perfect for summer...)

Yarn: NinaNinocska 25% silk, 75% super kid mohair
Colour: purple, pink, cyclamen, lilac, red

Folytatván a tavaszi - nyári válogatást, hadd mutassam be a Simple Summer Stole-t. 
A csíkos csipkeminta a lehető legegyszerűbb - ahogy a neve is jelzi. Ennek az egyszerűségnek oka van: így hangsúlyoztam a kézzel festett moher fonal különleges színét. Nem szeretem a hosszú átmenetes öncsíkozó vagy batik fonalakat, de ez a szépség egyszerűen csodálatos! Olyan a színe mint egy erdei gyümölcsös pitének... (vaníliafagyival tökéletes lenne nyárra...)

Summer Dots Stoles

This is my new design of a stole for the coming spring and the summer. (I am very optimistic about coming spring...)
Actually the pattern derives from the Dots Shawl - but instead of the rehung border I use vertical ladder motives with the delicate lace body. Other advantage of this new pattern - it is knitted as one piece.
The yarn is the classic lace knitting merino wool which is used frequently by me: very slender but has beautiful colour. I have several more colours so more stole is coming!

Yarn: 100% Merino
Measurement: 59" x 15,5", 51" x 15,5"

Íme a frissen tervezett stólám a közeledő tavaszi - nyári időszakra. (Rendkívül optimista vagyok a közeledő tavaszt illetően...)
A minta tulajdonképpen a Dots Shawl-ból ered - de ellentétben annak keresztben kötött, majd szemfelszedett szegélyével, itt függőleges létra motívumot alkalmaztam a szokott csipke testhez.
A fonal - a már többször használt - klasszikus csipkekötő merinó gyapjú: nagyon vékony, de szép élénk színű. Sok egyéb színem van még belőle így több ilyen stóla is várható.

Braid Scarf - Free pattern

Free charted pattern of my Braid Scarf. It was made originally for machine knitting but you can use the chart for hand knitting as well.

Luxury scarf for everyday use

I have finished three more colour versions of this mohair blend scarf. Now it is available in cream, grey, gooseberry and the old one: dark teal blue. As I had written the pattern of the scarf is neutral (although it is slightly lacy), unisex so I tried to choose the colours to fit in this role. The yarn is one of my favourites, super soft, light and not itchy - but drapes gorgeously and voluminous.
Yarn: Yeoman Ofelia (20% mohair, 80% acrylic) 
Measurements: 59" and 15"

Elkészítettem még három színből a moher sálamat. Jelenleg krém, szürke, egres valamint a régi sötétkék színekben érhető el. Már írtam, hogy a sál mintája meglehetősen semleges (ahhoz képest, hogy enyhén csipkeszerű) uniszex,  így a színeket is ennek megfelelően próbáltam kiválasztani. A fonal az egyik kedvenc moher keverék fonalam, nagyon puha, könnyű, nem szúr - viszont terjedelmes és az esése gyönyörű.

Fonal: Yeoman Ofelia (20% moher, 80% acrylic)

Dots Shawl

I have finished the Dots Scarf rectangular shaped version. Like my other stoles this is consists of two parts which are grafted together. I modified the wave border - now it is horizontal so can be knitted alongside the body. I think the border chart can be used by machine and hand knitters as well.
Yarn: Barka Szitakötő 100% merino wool

Colour: blue (like forget-me-not)

Measurement: 59" x 17"

Befejeztem a négyszögre alakított  Dots Scarf -ot. Felépítésre pont olyan mint az összes többi stólám: két darabban készül, középen összeöltve. Átalakítottam a wave border-t, most vízszintes és együtt kötődik a stóla testével. Szerintem a szegély leszámolható rajza kézi és gépi kötők számára egyaránt használható.

Waves Scarf

Basically I do not like the gradient yarns - especially these long grade dyed which are nowadays so popular. My opinion is that these yarns show their true beauties knitted with the simplest stitch pattern.
Now I had tried one. The idea was to combine a colorful and a single colour ball. It is a pure bamboo yarn, cool for the touch but heavy and drapes well - the perfect summer yarn. I chose a simple two colours tuck stitch pattern.
And I don't like the result... Happily my sister love it - so it will be in good hands after all :P.
Yarn: Alize Bamboo fine - former Barka Limonádé (100% bamboo)
Colour: blue and blue-to-creme
Dimensions: 17" x 51"

Alapjáraton nem szeretem a színátmenetes fonalakat - különösen ezeket a most oly divatos hosszú, sávos, öncsíkozósokat. Szerintem ezek a fonalak igazi szépségüket csak a lehető legegyszerűbb mintával tudják megmutatni.
Na, most kipróbáltam egyet. Az elképzelés az volt, hogy kombinálom az átmenetes és az egyszínű gombócot. A fonal tiszta bambusz, hűvös érintésű, de nehéz és szép az esése - a tökéletes nyári fonal. Egy kétszínű "tuck" mintát választottam hozzá. 
És nem szeretem az eredményt... Nagy örömömre nővérem megkedvelte, így mégis csak jó kezekbe kerül :P.

Bamboo scarf

This is not what I had planned. I wanted to make a nice bulky halfcircle shoulderette but the yarn opposed. It continuously fallen from the needles. So instead of my plan I made a scarf with a simple tuck stitch pattern. But I have to say this is a beautiful yarn! Quite heavy and slippery but it has such a wonderfully silky touch and vivid shiny colour. But unfortunately its thickness is over my poor machine's limit consequently it was the last time I tried to use it.

Yarn: Barka Mandarin (100% bamboo)
Colour: peacock (bight blueish green or greenish blue, turquoise)
Measurement: 13,5" x 59"

Hát nem ezt terveztem. Eredetileg egy helyes kis félkör alakú kendőcskét akartam kötni, de sajna a gépen nem fogadott szót. A szemeket folyamatosan elhagyta... Így hát kötöttem egy sálat csipkeszerű mintával. A fonal, az viszont gyönyörű! Meglehetősen nehéz és csúszós, de a tapintása csodásan selymes és fényes élénk a színe. Sajnos a gépem határait a vastagsága meghaladja, tehát ez volt az utolsó alkalom, hogy kötöttem belőle.

Szín: páva
Méret: 35cm x 150cm 

Chains Shoulderette

This half-circle scarf (or shoulderette) is edged with lace chains and has stocking stitch body. The inspiration came from Henslowe by Beth Kling which is one of my favourite patterns. So I tried to forge a pattern for knitting machine and this is the result.

The scarf is side-ways knitted as one piece and the halfcircle (or half-doughnut) form is shaped by short rows in the stocking stitch section.

Yarn: Barka Limonádé (100% bamboo)
Colour: white (not bright white, it is cloudy)
Diameter: 51"

Ez a félkör alakú kendő (vagy ... ööö ... vállacs?) lánc-szerű csipkével van szegélyezve és sima (harisnya) kötés az alapja. Az inspiráció Beth Kling Henslowe kendőjétől származik - ami az egyik kedvenc mintám. Tehát megpróbáltam valami hasonlót kitalálni kötőgépre és ez lett az eredmény.

Egy darabban, oldalvást van kötve, a félkör (vagy félfánk - hehe - félgyűrű) formáját pedig a sima részben kötött rövidített sorok adják.

Fonal: Barka Limonádé (100% bambusz)
Szín: fehér (nem az a szemkiütős hófehér, hanem olyan felhős)
Átmérő: 130 cm
