Butterfly - Modified Frost Flower lace

passap machine knitted butterfly lace shawl scarf
I simply love this pattern, which derives from the frost flower lace. Almost perfect - I want to modify around the single butterfly motif only.
I plan to knit this scarf several times, I am curious about how the same lace pattern looks like made from different weight yarns.
The first scarf - or stole the more - is knitted from a 5 ply extra fine merino yarn. The result is entirely satisfying: it is wonderfully soft and warm, and it's size made it suitable to wrap yourself nearly completely.
The handknit version of the pattern is available on my Ravelry store!

Yarn: Barka Esti mese (100% Merino wool)
Colour: light ecru or tan (pancake)
Size:16.5" x 63"

  5. Beautiful stole! However, buying the pattern via Ravelry doesn´t work. Is there any other way of buying it?

  8. Hello,
I bought this hand knit pattern last year, 2020, and just getting around to knitting it.
Is there a written version available otherwise I'm going to have to spend lots of time translating from the charts.
